Starting from the Guilin trip in 2001 I always had outing during National Day holidays, since the National Day holiday has been prolonged from three to seven days. The current one is a exception, because I had few time to make a flexible vacation plan due to the choppy project situation. However it isn’t so bad, actually there are some great places at Shanghai. They are good for a short stay.
The Starbucks store besides HuangPu River, in Pudong, is a wonderful place. I had been looking forward to being there for many times. Tonight I went there,but finally choosed to enter another coffee shop near it.
LAVAZZA Espresso Point - as far as I know, it is a certain coffee brand from Italy. Reputedly its taste is as rich as its history beginning from WW II.
I ordered a cup of the classic coffee - Expresso double. The cup was small, and the taste was very bitter.
People should feel very confortable in the environment. Some light modern buildings’ reflections(including Shangri-La hotel & Jin Mao Mansion) were on the floor glasses wall. People can take in a glance all old-aged buidling s on the bund, if his seat is close to the glasses wall. It is a really wonderful view.
