Dec 23, 2004 Sunny. I rided my friend to ZHU JIA JIAO ancient town in Qingpu county. It is a one of the well-known watertowns of Shanghai province. Since its’ history is more than hundreds of years, lakes and creeks interweave in the town, so I can’t miss capturing great views of the scenic spot.
Most architectures were built during Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty, with stone bridges ramaining ancient style. It’s a very special inimitable view.
In old age ZHU JIA JIAO was a important port and attacted a great deal of businessmen. Today local people open lots of shops , restaurant and tea room in the town. Lots of Travellers come here for short time tour everyday. So the place seems to be same flourishing as hundreds years ago.

In foretime I always pasted photos on my weblog without PS (PhotoShop Processed). I will try to make some changes in aftertime.
Actually the huge digital photography attraction is variety processing instrument. Almost all of digital photo’s parameters can be modified easily, like lighting, contrast, white balance etc. Especially for DSLR users, DSLR saves the image exactly like it was captured by the imaging chip, like ‘Digital Negative’.
My image processing tools are Nikon View, Nikon Capture, PhotoShop & PhotoWorks. I have not used them well but trying hard.
I picked out some old photos for processing practice. They were took during last summer at Zhou Zhuang - a famous Chinese water-town. I am not satisfied with them. Anyway share your opinions with me.
